Normal FOIL inspection and copying are by appointment Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Sheriff's FOIL page says requests must be written and mailed or delivered in person. Fax and email FOIL requests are not accepted. The request is treated as received when administrative staff process it during normal business hours.

- For booking photos, use the jail roster mugshots page and the Sheriff's written FOIL process if no public photo is online.
- For charges filed after an arrest, use court records after a jail arrest and the proper court record system.
